Bernstein and Bernstein, LLC, was founded by Isadore S. Bernstein in 1943. In a sign of what was to come, Mr. Bernstein built the success of his small law firm on hard work and a vision of excellence in the practice of law. In the 1960's, he partnered with Henry Hammer, who shared his vision, and they formed the law firm of Hammer and Bernstein. The strength and reputation of the firm was built upon the strong foundation of ingenuity and leadership demonstrated by these two men.

In 1990, the partnership dissolved and Mr. Bernstein continued to practice law as a sole practitioner. In 1994, Mr. Bernstein was joined by two of his children, Lowell E. Bernstein and Beth E. Bernstein, and formed what is now known as Bernstein and Bernstein, LLC.
